License & intellectual property

Pinterin is proprietary software and a registered service. The marketing site, the brewery portal, the mobile app, the database schema and all underlying algorithms are the exclusive intellectual property of Pinterin. All rights reserved.

1. Software license

No portion of the Pinterin platform — including but not limited to source code, compiled binaries, design assets, embeddings, fine-tuned model weights, vector indices, copy and structured data — may be copied, modified, redistributed, decompiled, reverse-engineered or used to train derivative AI models without Pinterin's prior written consent.

Authorized brewery operators are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the brewery portal solely for the operation of their own brewery accounts, subject to the Terms of service.

2. Trademarks

"Pinterin", the Pinterin logo, the golden glyph mark and any product names used on this site are trademarks of Pinterin. All other trademarks, product names, brewery names, beer brands and logos referenced on this site or within the platform are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

3. Brewery & beer content

Brewery names, descriptions, logos, beer artwork and tasting notes uploaded by brewery operators remain the property of those breweries. Breweries grant Pinterin a non-exclusive worldwide license to display, transmit and process this content solely to operate the platform, the marketplace and related communications (push notifications, order confirmations, shipping events).

4. AI-generated content

Beer comparisons, pairing suggestions and similarity rankings are generated using large language models and multimodal embeddings. These outputs are provided for informational and entertainment purposes and should not be relied upon as professional advice. Pinterin does not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated content.

5. Open-source acknowledgements

Pinterin is built on top of excellent open-source software. The full list of open-source dependencies and their respective licenses is available on request via legal@pinterin.com.

6. Third-party services

Pinterin integrates with third-party providers (payment processors, carrier integrators, AI model providers and analytics) that have their own terms. The current list of sub-processors is published in our Privacy policy. Use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the relevant terms of those providers where applicable.

7. Reservation of rights

All rights not expressly granted in this notice or in the Terms of service are reserved by Pinterin.
